Sela has effectively managed complex projects, including large-scale water management initiatives addressing climate change, like the project Restoration of Nabatean Flood Management Infrastructure in the Watershed of World Heritage Site of Petra, implemented in collaboration with the German -Jordanian University and the Danish Refugee Council.
Sela provided on-the-job training to 120 Petra community members in the conservation and rehabilitation of the Nabatean water system.
This project enhanced local expertise and received the ICCROM-Sharjah Award for Good Practices in Cultural Heritage Conservation and Management in the Arab Region in 2019.
Sela's success reflects its commitment to integrating heritage preservation with sustainable development.
