At Sela, we believe heritage preservation begins with awareness across all generations. Our programs engage children through creative play and storytelling, youth through training and site visits, and the wider community through cultural events, open days, and participatory storytelling. By involving entire communities, Sela transforms awareness into shared responsibility and pride.
Like the Interactive Children Guide developed for Petra. This project offers a fun and educational journey into Petra’s history, designed for children and families. Through Ahmad’s storytelling, young explorers learn about Petra’s carved stones, Nabataean water systems, and Bedouin traditions in an engaging way. Interactive games, music, and hands-on activities make learning immersive and enjoyable.
Available in Arabic and English, the project welcomes both local and international visitors.
